DISPOROPSIS

This genus in the convallariaceae family has about 5 species all native to the woodland habitats of East Asia. Often referred to as the 'evergreen Solomon's Seal'. They are clump forming rhizomatous tubers with arching stems and ovate or lance shaped leaves. They are happy in moist, rich humus soil with at least afternoon shade. A truly beautiful perennial.
