These beautiful spires of starry flowers can be found in the moist meadows of North America where they were often used as a food source for the native Indian tribes. Flowering at the end of Spring into Summer they bring colour and structure to your garden when all the tulips and daffodils are gone. The tall stems are topped with blooms of cream and blue through to lavender. They don't mind heavy moist soil and full sun, although will still thrive with dappled afternoon shade. They love to be left undisturbed to form clumps. A favourite here at Sylvan Vale.
