This wonderful candelabra primrose has large flowers of palest pink with a deeper pink central “eye” on stems to about 50cm tall. Primula japonica is sometimes known as the Queen of Primroses due to its outstanding beauty. Like all candelabra primroses it appreciates shade during the hottest parts of the day and likes moist to wet conditions, even growing happily in shallow water.
