This stunning white form of Pauridia capensis (formerly Spiloxene) from the cape regions of Southern Africa has stark white starry petals highlighted by a jet black velvety eye zone. The flower opens to the first kiss from the morning sun and as it warms up the long petals fold back highlighting the golden yellow anthers. The flowers are a lot bigger than a 50c piece and on stems to 30cm. A showstopper in a sunny rockery!
