This very rare and outstanding species from Japan has purplish-rose blooms with a gold throat and startling ink-blue markings on the tips of the petals. Sadly it is often referred to as the 'blue nerine' when its sheer majesty deserves the title of Queen of Lycoris in it's own right. A must have Lycoris!
