This is the red form of the graceful American species first introduced to Europe in the 1620’s. It has charming reflexed bell shaped red flowers with a deep ochre throat overlayed with chocolate spotting. Strong stems to 1.5m with leaves in a whorl crowning to a head of up to ten blooms. Stems to 1.5 metres. Water once a week during Summer. When planting add Blood and Bone and they will benefit from a liquid feed before Christmas. Stunning!
