This beautiful species is native to asia, being Japan, Korea, Mongolia through to the atlay region of Siberia. It produces numerous creamy green bells tesselated crimson inside on stems up to 70cm. Plants bulbs about 10cm and feed well with blood and bone and lime. An easy and fabulous fritillary.
