A hardy American species from California often referred to as the 'leopard lily'. They have intense heavily reflexed blooms of bright red at the tips fading to a brown heavily spotted orange centre. Strong 1.5m stems with foliage arranged whorls.  Water once a week during Summer. When planting add Blood and Bone and they will benefit from a liquid feed before Christmas. A truly delightful and easy species!
